New Technology Report – Adobe Sensei

Adobe Sensei is a structure of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning platform that contains Adobe’s knowledge of assisting with creativity, document and marketing. Adobe Sensei works behind the scenes to make user’s life easier when using adobe applications. In the art design area, it allows users to focus on creativity while Sensei handle tasks that are time consuming and repetitive. It also handles your document work from summarization, flow extraction, structure analysis and recognition of similarities. Sensei also enhance business results by giving companies smart recommendations for customer and marketing decisions.  

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a broad area of computer science that makes machine like have human intelligence. It commands the computer to perform tasks and it also learns to exhibit behaviors. The concept of Artificial intelligence was invented back in 1956 by Dartmouth professor John McCarthy. He gathered a group of computer scientists and mathematicians to figure out if machines could learn like a human does by performing trial and error problem solving method to create formal reasoning. Their goal was to make machines use language, form abstractions and concepts, solve kinds of problems for humans. The reasons behind the rise of AI today:  

Stacks of data –  many apps, software and hardware has been made for the past few years which results to creating more data worldwide.  

Sophisticated Algorithms – building more advanced machines such as Neural Network that is capable of replicating how human brain works.  

Power usage (Moore’s law)  – Computing power has doubled every 2 years since Artificial intelligence was created.  

Adobe Sensei uses machine learning and deep learning to understand digital content. It uses an image recognition service to identify image tags, performs masking process by understanding the image background, summarizing large content into smaller content and analyzing visual features from the semantic structure of documents. Sensei uses face tracking and optical flow interpolation increasing speed for polishing cuts on interviews and creating animation movements and sounds with the a new lip-sync algorithm.

Sensei also has this feature called Experience Intelligence, it helps users personalize their content and marketing by using a cloud software tool called Adobe Target. This tool contains user interface, best practices built in and powerful optimization tools for supporting site visitors. Adobe Target uses self-learning algorithmic approach and factory testing, enabling to increase and understand elements for real-time targeted content which automates behavioral targeting collected data from IP addresses, time of date, URLs and brand affinity.  

Adobe Sensei is an emerging technology on its way to make disruption into the workforce. The future of work expects a shift from technology, handling time consuming and repetitive work. It will allow graphic designers, marketers and other users to be free and focus on the things they are passionate about. As tens of billions of documents are process and need to be work on, imagine a world of digital experience where a unified AI and Machine learning software tool will help you finish your work faster, less stress, no overtime shifts that will hold you back to get to important events and be home on time for dinner with your family.
